Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire – J. K. Rowling, Signed, With Golden Ticket

gob.1 (595 x 600)

Bloomsbury Publishing Plc, London, 2000

Signed First Edition, First Printing. Fine, crisp book and Fine condition dust jacket, with the scarce provenance of the original GOLDEN TICKET to the book signing event at Harrods! Boldly signed by JK Rowling on the dedication page (adjacent to the copyright page) as “JK Rowling”. Accompanied by the original scarce 6″ x 4″ “Golden Ticket”. Note very few of these books were signed in an official book signing event, and of those only about a 1/3 still retained the original GOLDEN TICKET for provenance! Not the Australian edition, Not the Ted Smart edition, Not the Canadian edition, and Not a bookclub edition, but the scarce true first/first Bloomsbury edition with the requisite “First Printing” statement on the copyright page.

The book has near fine pictorial boards displaying the same image as on the dust jacket. The boards are in fine condition with sharp corners with one extremely tiny tip bump, and no edgewear. The boards have their nice original sheen with no stains, and still retain their bright vibrant colors. The binding is tight and square and still snaps shut when opened. The end papers are clean, bright and flat with no marks, no inscriptions, no book plates and no bookstore stamps. J.K. Rowling boldly signed the book on the dedication page. The internal pages are clean, bright and flat, the pages are crisp with no stains, no writing, no bent pages, and no foxing. Stunning beautiful book internally appearing as unread! Accompanied by the scarce original GOLDEN TICKET to the book signing event at Harrods!

The stunning original first edition dust jacket is in fine unrestored condition with strong vibrant colors with No edgewear, No rips, No chips, No stains, No rubbing, No fading, and No foxing. Tiny 1mm spot to the spine. The jacket has a stated price of 14.99 on the front inside flap. A very stunning dust jacket.

An important and handsome scarce copy, flat signed by J.K Rowling without dedication to anyone. A fantastic collectible example with a beautiful clean, crisp interior. Presents well extremely well.
