The book is in beautiful fine condition with crisp black boards. The book has clean cloth with very sharp corners and no edgewear. Tiny push to one corner. The binding is tight and square. The patterned end papers are in perfect condition being clean and bright, with no owner names, no inscriptions, no bookstore stamps, and no bookplates. The internal pages are clean, flat and bright with No marks, No writing, No foxing, No bent pages, and No age toning. Two pages have a tiny spot, otherwise no stains. The original striking unrestored jacket is in near fine/fine condition, (however the jacket has been discounted due to the verso having tape edging running along the outer edge to protect the jacket from wear). The colors are strong and vibrant and without any of the usual toning to the spine. The jacket no edgewear, no rips, no chips, no stains, no rubbing but a few tiny nicks to the spine, no fading, no sunning/darkening and no foxing. The dust jacket is NOT price clipped and has a stated price of 18s. net. Please see detailed images. A superior example of this title in exceedingly scarce condition.
