Original crisp black hatched covered boards with silver titles to spine and and a diamond emblem to the front of the boards. The book has sharp corners and no edgewear. No dry or splitting spine. The binding is tight and square, but there some slight bowing to the front board. The internal pages are clean, bright and flat with a few pages to the front, and to the outer page block with some faded foxing, otherwise the book has No marks, No stains, No age toning, and No bent pages. The original first edition dust jacket presents in near fine condition having benefited from very slight restoration by an expert paper conservator. As such, the dust jacket has strong vibrant colors with No edgewear, No rips, No chips, No fading, No stains, No rubbing and No foxing. Slight toning to the rear panel as is common. The dust jacket is NOT priced clipped and has a stated price of 12s 6d net. The jacket is now protected in a new clear archival removeable cover. Beautiful jacket. Please see the many images.
