An usually bright clean and crisp book with deep black boards. Bright unfaded gilt titles to spine. The book is in fine condition with sharp corners, and no edgewear, and the cloth still retains the original sheen. The binding is tight and square. The end pages are clean with no owner names and no inscriptions. The internal pages are clean, bright and flat with no stains, no marks, no writing, no bent pages, no age toning and no foxing. The book comes with a fine/near fine first printing, first state original dust jacket, with the requisite “Devil of a State” Review to the rear panel, and wide interior flaps on the jacket. The dust jacket received very slight restoration to small spots of rubbing on the upper edge of the rear panel and presents in fine condition. The jacket has strong vibrant colors with No rips, No chips, No edgewear, No staining, No foxing and no fading. The dust jacket is NOT price clipped and has a price of 16s net on the front inner flap.
