Original crisp black hatched covered boards with silver titles to spine and a diamond emblem to the front of the boards. The book has sharp corners and no edgewear. No dry or splitting spine. The boards have a publisher defect to the upper right corner which appears as a small line dent. Otherwise, the book would be considered in fine condition with exceptional boards maintaining their original glossy sheen. The binding is tight and square. The end papers are clean and bright with no bookstore stamps, no owner names and no bookplates. The internal pages are clean, bright and flat with No marks, No stains, No age toning, No bent pages, and No foxing. Beautiful book, internally appearing as unread. Please see images for details.
The original first edition dust jacket presents in fine/ near fine unrestored condition. The dust jacket has strong vibrant rich colors with but a thin discoloration to the inner flap edge, and a few miniscule nicks. Otherwise, No edgewear, No rips, No chips, No fading, No stains, No rubbing and No foxing. The dust jacket is NOT priced clipped and has a stated price of 12s 6d net.
