The book is in beautiful fine/near fine condition with blue cloth boards, with red titles to spine, and a galaxy image to front. Currey binding A boards. Signed by Asimov on one of his extremely scarce personal Foundation bookplates. The boards are in crisp condition, with clean cloth, sharp corners, with but one very tiny tip bump and no edgewear. The binding is tight and square. The end papers are without owner names or inscriptions, but have a slight bit of residual stain on the paste down. The front free end paper contains the extremely scarce signed unique Asimov "Foundation" bookplate signed by him "Isaac Asimov". The internal body pages are clean and flat with No marks, No stains, No writing, No inscriptions, No tears, No bent pages and No foxing. The original extremely scarce first edition, first state dust jacket has benefited from very very slight expert paper restoration to the outer spine tips and presents in Fine condition. The jacket has strong vibrant colors, with even the spine still maintaining bright unfaded red titles. The jacket has No chips, No edgewear, No stains, No rubbing and No foxing.
