A near fine copy in blue green cloth with vibrant ornate gilt to the spine and front of the book.
A superb copy of this title with clean boards and stunning vibrant gilt titles to the spine and front of the boards. The book has sharp corners with but one corner bump and no edgewear. The original cloth is in beautiful condition with strong vibrant gilt and with NONE of the more commonly found sunning to the spine and just a bit of rubbing to the lower spine tip. The binding is tight and square. Rough cut pages with top edge gilt as issued. The original end papers and tissue guard are present, the end papers have slight foxing.. The book is internally clean and bright with No owner names, No stains, No handling marks, and No foxing. Please see detailed images.
A wonderful example of this title withOUT the usual cracked hinges and broken bindings. Instead, the unusually clean copy had a sound readable binding. Displays well on the shelf.
