Commissioned from Cliff Wright,( the cover artist for Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban), he signed a limited run of these Fine Art Guild stunning giclee prints in 2005 and 2006. The Giclee print depicts one of the most famous scenes from this book, the moment that Harry and Hermoine hop onto the Giffin "Buckbeak" to rescue Sirius Black. In the climax of the story, Harry and Hermione use a Time-Turner to go in time to save Buckbeak from execution, then immediately after, they use the creature to help Sirius Black escape from the prison cell in Professor Flitwick's office, allowing him to fly away to safety
This print was issued in two sizes with this one being the larger of the two, measuring 26.5" wide x 24" high. It is currently hinged at the very top to a larger sheet which was then loosely matted to a finish size of 31.5" x 30.25". SIGNED AND DATED lower right in graphite by the artist, who designed the art for the book, "Cliff Wright / '06"
