Fahrenheit 451 – Ray Bradbury, signed

fah.1 (439 x 600)

Ballantine Books, New York, 1953

First Edition, First Printing:: The true first printing of this title was first published in fragile softcover and then in the same year, was published in hardcover format. This copy is the true first printing, boldly signed in black felt tip by Ray Bradbury on a laid in adhesive bookplate. Expanded from the novella “The Fireman”, published in 1951. Filmed in 1966 by Francois Truffaut.

The book is in vibrant color softwraps, lightly rubbed along the spine and outer edges, and with a few soft creases. Otherwise internally the binding is quite tight and the book appears as unread. The internal pages are clean, crisp and flat with no marks, no stains, no handling marks, no writing, no bent pages, no stains, and no foxing but with typical age toning. Boldly signed in black felt tip by Ray Bradbury on a laid in adhesive bookplate. Please see detailed images.

Would make a perfect gift for a Bradbury collector.
