A SUPERB ORIGINAL DRAWING OF a “WILD THING”, SIGNED by Maurice Sendak “Maurice Sendak”. This “Wild Thing” is the one with the long hair as shown in Sendak’s book, “Where The Wild Things Are”.
The art is in fine condition and was newly matted, framed and glazed. FRAMED TO A FINISHED SIZE OF: 14″ X 13.5″
A beautiful original large and bold full body drawing in reddish brown pen and ink of one of the Wild Things. Signed by Maurice Sendak, “Maurice Sendak”. Framed to a completed size of 14″ X 13.5″. Matted art size by sight of 5″ x 4.5″. The piece was framed using fully archival materials and UV glass for full protection and preservation.
This piece is penned in vibrant, bold reddish brown ink, and is SIGNED by Maurice Sendak lower center.
PROVENANCE: Accompanied by a Letter of Authenticity from James Spence, LLC.
The art is in great condition, and is set off beautifully in the frame.
